paper boat found in the Peerie Cafe, Scrabster Caithness.

Sue Rainbow e-mailed......

"Hi Joanne
Great idea the paper boats!  My mum , Eileen Rainbow found a boat in the Peerie Cafe in Scrabster and is going to send it to her  great grandchildren Alex and Ella  who live in the south of Tasmania.

There is also an interesting story about Cockle Creek and links with whaling where this bronze whale sculpture is sited. Cockle Creek is the southernmost tip of  Tasmania."

Click here for more info about Cockle Creek, and here for more info about the history of whaling in the area.
